I almost lost my Mom last year… 😔
We think our parents are invincible.
So we take them for granted.
We hold grudges and resentment,
Sometimes we even stop talking to them.
But,
Does that make you happy?
Do you feel this empty space in your heart?
Do you miss your mum’s cooking?
Or banter with your dad?
Because it may not seem so,
But our parents are Mortals.
Crazy right?
And they won’t exist one day!
So here’s what you can do,
Step 1: Imagine a happy moment with them.
A moment that brings that beautiful smile to your face.
Step 2: Reach out to them.
How?
Drop a message,
“I love you. I miss you. See you soon.
😘 ❤️ 😘 ❤️”
And when you get that call or message from them,
Step 3: Have a conversation with them.
You can go as deep as you want…
It’s as simple as that.
And share your experience with me.
Good Luck ❤
Lesson learned: Life’s short, and grudges have no space in them.
Back Story: This is a very emotional post for me. My mom had a brain stroke last year in June 2023 and doctors said she might not live. My whole world turned upside down. Suddenly all the anger and resentment had no space in my life. All I wanted was for my mom to wake up and live. It was too soon. I never felt so scared in my life.
Thank god, she’s better now and still recovering.❤️
